Stronghold trade resin

The highest quality topcoat manufactured to our specifications and modified with fire retardants. When used with our resins and glass reinforcing achieves FAA fire rating. No extra coverings are required to achieve FAA. Available in mid grey Ral 7046, dark grey RAL 7011 or clear. We can supply in any colour upon request from the BS colour range or the European RAL colour range. Guaranteed for 20 or 25 years depending on resin choice.

Stronghold topcoats

Glass reinforcing to strengthen joints and for strengthening trim fixture to roof edges.

Available in 100 mm by 50 m rolls.

Stronghold reinforcing tape

Stronghold glass has excellent stiffness, wet out time and carry time suitable for GRP roofing applications. A very consistent product which is very important for single layer applications… no weak spots

Available in weight 600g/m² or 450g/m². Choice of 33kg, 16.5kg or 8.25kg box or cut rolls.

Stronghold chopped strand mat

A high quality MEKP catalyst, tested and proven with our system. Great control and no loss of fire rating qualities in finished products. 500gram and 1 Kg come in a handy dispensing unit made to our design. All caps are vented to avoid gas build up and comply with current health and safety legislation. 1Kg, 500gram, and 250gram bottles have vented child resistant caps.

Available in 5kg, 1kg, 500g and 250g bottles.

Stronghold catalyst

A200 fitted to the roof edge allowing drainage, usually into a gutter.

May be used with C1 corners. Smaller A170 or larger A250 versions are also available.

B260 designed to act as a small parapet wall to retain the water on the roof.

E35/40 Simulated lead rolled joint

Virgin acetone, 99.5% minimum purity. Please note, acetone is a highly flammable substance which must be carefully handled and stored. We recommend reading the safety data sheets before using these products.

Available in 5 litre or 1 litre bottles.

Acetone

Low cost resin brushes suitable for the application of polyester resins and gels. Resistant to resin and acetone. Natural bristle and wooden handle.

Available in 100mm, 75mm and 50mm.

Brushes

Super strong patent rollers designed by the glass fibre roofing company for the application of polyester resins and gels. Features include:

A practically unbreakable 6 mm steel frame.

The cloth does not fall off even after repeated use.

All head fittings are recessed for getting into corners when moulding.

Finished with a strong plastic handle which will accept an extension pole.

The only roller to withstand permanent immersion in acetone and resin.

Application rollers

High quality paddle rollers designed by the glass fibre roofing company. The paddle roller is a type of consolidating or laminating roller designed to form the GRP laminate into an integral structure by removing air bubbles and squeezing flat. Features include:

A practically unbreakable 6 mm steel frame.

Long life brass bushes on the 22 mm diameter roller.

All head fittings are recessed for getting into corners when moulding.

Finished with a strong plastic handle which will accept an extension pole.

Suitable for long term immersion in acetone.

Paddle rollers

12 Litre tough plastic (LDPE/PP) builders bucket, graduated inside in litres and fitted with a steel handle.

Builders bucket

Ideal for bonding GRP roofing trims to timber. This multi functional flexible (high modulus), polyurethane sealant and adhesive bonds extremely well to numerous materials including, timber, metal, GRP and plastic. Specially formulated for a wide variety of applications including industrial and marine use. Resistant to weathering, seawater and ultra-violet radiation, soudaflex is the perfect all-rounder. Outstanding bonding capability and elasticity ensures a durable, long lasting seal.

Polyurethane Sealant (Soudaflex 310ml)

Powdered disposable natural latex glove. Ambidextrous, non-sterile with beaded cuff. Essential kit if your working with polyester resins. Available in size large or extra large, single boxes or outer cartons containing 10 boxes each.

Available in boxes of 100, large or extra large.

Latex gloves

High performance, acrylic based, roof waterproofing compound containing fibres. Suitable for general flat roof areas, flashing and gutters. Roof Waterproofing Compounds continue to represent exceptional value for flat roof weatherproofing and emergency repairs. Can be used without a primer and has the ability to be applied in damp conditions on most surfaces. Contains fibres to help bridge cracks and gaps. Will waterproof instantly, even while wet, and will not wash off while curing. Will withstand ponding and covers in only one coat.
